Cohen's Gentle Dental

My first time coming here and very organized. Was able to be seen earlier then from my appointment time since I got there early. Mayra who works in the front desk is very nice and the process to fill out the forms was fast. Also, Alex did a fantastic job with my dental cleaning that was very much needed and patient. definitely recommend!

Dr. Cohen and his staff are All Wonderful, Nice, Caring people! I got seen at the time I signed in they placed me in a room right away. Also they sent me to the best Oral Surgeon to take out teeth. Dr. Cohen is very Kind and Helpful to Answer all Questions his Working Partner I think his name is Rodger is very friendly and helpful also and the woman are all nice and caring. I have to go to his other office next week and I am excited for that process. Overall I'm Happy and Satisfied with the treatment I got from Dr. Cohen and his staff. We got done what I wanted and need done. 😁

My initially dental appointment left me dissatisfied with the service I received. I waited over two hours to be called for my oral X-ray. When I approached the front desk, to ask why people who came in after me were being seen before me I was met with confusion from the front desk. They had no idea why I wasn’t called. Until one of the dental assistant realized my chart wasn’t even placed in the queue. I was then taken to the back and received a clean and a very rushed oral exam. The dentist that gave me the exam explain he doesn’t do the service I required so I had to come back another day to see a different dentist. On my next appointment I returned and the same thing occurred again. I waited for 2 1/2 hours before being seen because the front desk didn’t place my file in the queue🤦🏾‍♀️ (So obviously this happens a lot at this establishment so beware!) Another thing that I found unprofessional. I was told the same day about a charge for the service. When I asked why am I just hearing of the charge. The front desk lady said “i don’t know and what are you going to do” as if her time was being wasted Lol… Well at this point I was left to go forward with the service because I had already left work early and waited over 3 hours. I didn’t want to waste my time any further by not doing the procedure. I just couldn’t believe that this charge wasn’t told to me at my initial appointment 🤦🏾‍♀️ This entire experience was unbelievable and a joke. Even though this experience overall was horrible. I can say the dentist there are very personable, and seem to want to give the best oral services. But the front desk and the way the system runs is HORRIBLE!
